The extensive use of raw materials has an environmental impact and leads to product defects. Digitalization of the manufacturing processes should help minimize product deficiencies, facilitate circular economy principles, reduce production costs and disseminate the project outcomes.

AI REGIO SOLUTION:

Developement of embryonic MDSs to feed advanced AI4Manufacturing applications and promote the creation of dataspaces in Greece.

EXPECTED BENEFITS:

The project will have a positive impact on the sustainability of Pressious's industrial processes, including reducing OpEx costs and environmental footprint, and promoting the circular economy principle.

Pressious, a company with a large market share in the Balkan peninsula for offset printing, is collaborating with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and AI REGIO to implement machine learning models that will improve product quality and reduce costs, energy and material waste.
